Keep on Keep Up – Falls are not inevitable

Falls are not inevitable

Keep On Keep Up (KOKU) is a state of the art, cost-effective, tablet-based technology that draws on health behaviour change theory and gamification to increase adherence to strength and balance exercises.

Development to date has involved in-depth testing with over 100 adults aged 65 and older, in Sheltered Housing facilities in the UK.

Keep on Keep Up engages older adults in health promoting strategies to support bone health, hydration, continence and home safety modifications.

KOKU does not require clinicians to assess, oversee or monitor use due to its novel self-assessment descriptors and user-centred design.

Freezing air from Russia is to grip the UK in what is set to be the coldest late February in five years.

The cold blast – dubbed the beast from the east – will see temperatures plunge below zero from Sunday night, with some areas seeing lows of minus 8C (17.6F), while snow is set to fall in Lancashire.

Key2Support will continue to put service users first, we deliver home care on foot if necessary, the Beast from the East is no match for Ladies of  Lancashire.
