Thank you for the beautiful flowers but, more importantly, thank you for the care and support you have provided over the last year or so; not just to mum, but to all of us.
Mum, whenever asked about her carers, would indignantly correct people to say you were not her carers but her friends. She also told the hospital staff, whenever in, that they were not a patch and on her last stay told them she wanted to get Molly along to show them how to do it properly!
I think that summed up how the whole family felt as every single last one of you (too many to mention by name) have been wonderful in every way and we honestly do not feel we could have had a better agency sign up for mum's care.
It has only been 2 short days but dad commented earlier that the house is quiet and he is missing the visits and chats we all had and I feel the same.
So words are not really enough - but please do not forget us as friends and if anyone is ever passing, you will always have a welcome here.
Please can you share this with everyone to try and go a little way to explaining how glad we are you came into our lives to care for mum.
